NICE TO MEET YOU!
My name is Trevor Black, and I have a deep love for sharing the foundations of music during the first critical years of music education. My journey as a teacher began with producing albums by Boys and Girls Club members in Boston, and I have since developed curriculum for several music schools over the course of my career. I studied the Shearer Classical Guitar Method at Duquesne University, as well as Kodaly technique while working at Orpheus Academy of Music.
I currently live in Bremerton, WA, with my wife and dog. When I'm not teaching, you might see me around town playing guitar, board games, or trying to catch a glimpse of an otter at the waterfront.
I believe music lessons lead to life lessons in diligence, patience, and community!

Trevor gives piano lessons to my 6-year old son and I can't recommend him enough, for anyone reading this. He's extremely patient and educational and my son has made huge strides with his piano playing under Trevor's guidance!
